Brazil faces defending champion in the match of the Men's World Handball Championship almost six months after the Olympic Games. This game will be played in Paris at the AccorHotels Arena, and has a taste of rematch. In Rio 2016, the Brazilian team fell to France in the quarterfinals of the competition, losing by 34x27.

The Brazilian Men's Handball Team landed on Monday in Paris, France, for the World Championship. On Wednesday, for the second consecutive edition, Brazil will have the honor of making the opening match of the competition against the owners of the house.

In Qatar in 2015 he faced the Middle East team and now faces France when all eyes will be on that important match. The Accorhotels Arena, with capacity for 15,700 people, is likely to be crowded at 5:45 pm from a warm crowd for 'les bleus', as usual. However, this does not scare the Brazilians, who see as a positive point playing the responsibility for the hosts, the current champions.
