The company that manages the MotoGP World Championship has postponed the French Grand Prix, scheduled for Le Mans on
Sunday 17 May, to a later date. The World Championship started on March 8 in
Qatar, where however only the minor classes raced and not the MotoGP. All subsequent tenders,
initially scheduled between March and April, were postponed due to the spread
of the coronavirus. After the
postponement of the French Grand Prix,
the first race on the calendar is now the Italian Grand Prix on 31 May.
