After the suspension of all sports activities imposed by CONI
and confirmed by the government on Monday with a decree in force on Tuesday,
the FIGC met this week to begin to understand how this Serie A championship season could have ended. Find a solution it
will not be easy, considering that in the meantime the first two cases of
positivity to coronavirus have
occurred. This could lengthen the suspension time.

The championship clubs will meet again on Friday and then
with the FIGC on Monday 23 March, the date on which it will probably be
understood what will become of this year's Serie
A. According to the declarations of the federal president Gabriele Gravina,
if the championship could not be concluded as foreseen in the calendar, the
chances for the League and FIGC to be remedied would be three.
The prospect of returning to play on April 4 is currently far
away. In the coming days, the positivity cases among the 305 Serie A players
could increase - Juventus and Inter are in quarantine - and so the
preventive measures. In addition, the contagion is also affecting European cups
and continental championships, which in the next few days will probably play
their last rounds before other suspensions. If and when Serie A resumes, much
will also depend on the situation in the rest of Europe.
